Contour Guide When selecting the perfect hair system, the right front contour shape is a crucial factor that should never be overlooked. As you age, your front hair contour naturally changes. A disproportionate frontal hairline recession for your age or hairstyle can be a telltale sign of wearing a hair system. However, with the correct front contour shape, it becomes nearly impossible for others to notice.

At Must Hair, we categorize contour shapes into six types: A, AA, B, BB, C, and CC. Contour C features an almost straight hairline, similar to that of a young man in his 20s or 30s, while Contour AA resembles the hairline of a man in his 40s to 50s.

Contour Guide All of our stock hair systems come with a CC contour shape for the hairline. However, if you prefer a different contour shape, we can accommodate that with a custom order. You can select from contour shapes A, AA, B, BB, C, CC, or alternatively, you can send us your own contour template, which we will replicate to create your desired contour shape.

If you’re new to using hair systems, it’s advisable to start with a CC contour as it’s readily available and can be obtained quickly. This will allow you to see the final outcome. If you prefer a straighter look, then the C contour is a good choice, while a more receded appearance might be achieved with A or AA. Contours like C, A, or AA require a custom order.

Using contour tapes that match the shape of your hair system can greatly simplify the bonding process. For instance, if your hair system has a CC contour, using CC contour tape for the hairline will be much more straightforward.
